Dwight’s Breakfast Cookies
Ingredients:
- 3T hemp hearts
- 3T oat bran
- 1T chia seeds
- 1/8t vital wheat gluten
- 1/8t cinnamon
- Dash of salt
- Optional: 1/2 banana (mashed) (OR 1/3 cup milk OR ½ small can of crushed pineapple)
- 1T coconut oil (OR butter, peanut butter, or other butter of choice)
- 1T sugar
- Optional:
- 2T chocolate chips (chopped)
- 2T raisins (chopped)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Mix the first six ingredients in a small bowl
- If adding chocolate chips, add them to these ingredients
- Combine last three ingredients in a small microwave-safe bowl or coffee cup and heat until coconut oil melts. Stir well
- If adding raisins, add them to these ingredients
- Combine wet and dry ingredients
- Place dough on greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork to desired thickness
- Sprinkle a small amount of sugar on the top
- Bake for 15 minutes or until browned
- Let cool
